Oh good. My MP doesn’t understand how parliamentary democracy works. And also seems to have no problem with the idea that an individual MP’s opinions don’t seem to matter as long as they toe the party line, which pretty much makes them complete wastes of money and space in a majority parliament, unless they’re in cabinet (and even then, hardly).
Might as well have assign an electoral college vote to every riding and dispense of MPs all together. That’s millions of dollars a year for… well, anything else.
